“Excellent Location”
Reviewed 29 March 2013

Another great stay in a premier inn, friendly staff and clean room, all right on Princess Street a short walk to the Train Station and the Car Park.
About a 15 minute walk to the Castle although steep going if you take the short cut.

Would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to anyway

Managed to get a room with an amazing view of the castle as requested. This hotel was everything you expect from premier inn, nice room, extremely clean and with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good, the standard premier inn breakfast. The thing that makes this hotel stand out is the location which is really central for all the highlights of edinburgh and the lovely view from some rooms, the breakfast area and the bar area. The one slight downside was that the windows needed cleaning on the outside, but then the weather was pretty bad and it may just have been from all the salt and grit on the roads. A great hotel, good value for money, I would recommend it.

Nice Premier Inn. Great location on Princes Street and our room had a fantastic view of the Castle. There was a little bit of street noise, but that died down during the night and didn't disturb our sleep.

The staff were very efficient and friendly. All requests were dealt with promptly. Would stay again when in Edinburgh.

Room Tip: View of the Castle

This is a budget hotel, so some amenities given at other hotels are not offered here due to the price. Hotel was clean and quiet. Our rooms faced the castle and the view was terrific! Family friendly, cots and pull outs for kids. Kids menu in the restaurant as well. Breakfast was just ok, not the best. We chose continental after the first day with full. Continental was good. Entrance to hotel was hard to find and staff on the phone were not a big help. Overall our stay was good.

Everything you would expect from a Premier Inn. Great location - near everything you need to be, great value for money, friendly and very helpful staff and a great nights sleep.

Request a room with a view of the castle if you can.

Good location for shopping, clean room, comfortable bed, very friendly staff.
The lady at the reception even did our Online Check-in for the flight.

We did not eat at the Premier Inn, but looked good.

Only the parking was about 10 walking minutes away.

Really recommendable.
Try it out!
