“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2014

I stayed in Premier Inn Edinburgh City Centre - Princes Street with my friend between 02-04 January 2014 and I really enjoyed my stay. We based our decision to stay in this hotel because of excellent location and I do not regret it. Very friendly staff and good customer service. We have tried Premier breakfast and it was very tasty but would be less fat. Room very clean with large and comfy bed. I liked tea and coffee facilities, presence of hairdryer and TV with music channels. The only annoying thing was no mobile network in the room so to make a phone call or to send a text I had to walk outside near to the lifts area to find a mobile network. But overall very good stay and value of money. Definitely I will come back there again and will recommend it to others! :)

Stayed here for Hogmanay 2013. Great value for money and close to all the action. Rooms clean, well appointed and the staff were so friendly! I pre-ordered a bottle of champagne and it was ready and waiting for us when we arrived in an ice-bucket. Budget prices, but they don't skimp on service!

Room Tip: Ask for a Castle View room when booking.

This hotel is so central, being located on Princes Street and opposite Edinburgh Castle. Despite its location it is not affected by the thousands of busy shoppers and visitors which pass by. Once you are in the hotel it rightly stands by its Good Night Guarantee - you will be undisturbed. The reception, bar and restaurant have a Castle view making meal times a particular treat. The staff are welcoming, extremely helpful and thoughtful which made for an enjoyable stay. It is so easy to visit many of Edinburgh's attractions which are so accessible from this hotel.

Local to the restaurants at Leith harbour, the Ocean Terminal shopping centre and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Very good value. Room clean and free wifi throughout the hotel. The reception staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great location!! Right on Princes Street.

Family room was good size and very clean. Breakfast was also great.

I would highly recommend especially with such reasonable costs.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Visited Edinburgh for 3 days with our two little girls aged 2 & 4. Parked in Castle terrace car park and walked to the hotel. The girls did struggle with the walk as we decided to leave the pushchair at home. Will certainly bring it next time. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were very friendly. The room was flawless, clean and tidy and spacious even with 3 beds in the room. After settling in we went out to explore the amazing city. With the Xmas celebrations on to the 5th of Jan there was plenty to see and do. We spent a lot of time at the hotel due to getting wet and the little ones moaning there legs were aching. Lol. Our room was at the back of the hotel as all the front rooms with views were already allocated. This is definitely one of the nicest premier inns we've stayed at. Will certainly be back for more next year.
