The hotel in general was quite good. The only problems i see are the food variety in breakfast and not free wifi connection for guests(only 30 minutes). That wouldn' be a problem if the prize was cheaper.

Excellent choice. Airport tram goes by hotel, very convenient. Central location, everything within walking distance. Beautiful view of Edinburgh Castle from dining room. Great nights sleep, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, Costa Coffee & all herbal teas. Staff very friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The location is second to none with an incredible view of the castle. Start your day by eating their breakfast staring at the castle. They have a good cup of Joe or whatever you're into. Staff is great. Rooms are basic but you probably know that.

The Princes St Premier Inn is in a perfect location...convenient to everything and with a wonderful view of the castle...amazing! The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant meal deals are good value for delicious food, plus you get to have a view of the castle as you eat....awesome!

Typical Premier Inn where you know exactly what you're getting. Would struggle to improve on the location, right in the centre of Edinburgh. Brilliant view from the restaurant as well. Perfect for a short stay where cutting down on travel time around Edinburgh is important.

We stayed 3 nights in room 619 with a direct view to the beautiful Edinburgh castle. The hotel is centrally located, about 10 minutes walk to the The Royal Mile and 2-3 minutes walk to Rose Street where a lot of restaurants are situated. The room was quiet with a comfortable bed. The bath room was nice and clean. The check-in and check-out were efficient. The staff were very friendly.

The only issue we encountered during our stay was the WIFI. It did not work in our room at all and worked only sporadically in the reception area. Talking to the folks in the reception area, apparently this was a known issue for a while, but for some reasons not yet fixed by the WIFI service provider.

Walk out of the station into the hustle and bustle of Princes street! It took us only about 15 minutes to walk down to the hotel..mind you...not a bad walk considering the shops on one side and the beautiful views on the other! Once outside the hotel the view in front of you is the 'Edinburg Castle' breathtaking views...I might add! Up on the second floor we found the receptionist to be friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was just right with a double bed for hubby and me and a single bed for Lil Miss . The room contains the bare necessitieses of a kettle, some tea/coffee, sugar and milk , also a hair dryer but no iron . No biggy as we didn't need one. The breakfast is definitely worth the money...eggs, bread, croissant, baked beans, sausages, bacon, juice, tea and coffee, the staff at the restaurant are also very helpful and friendly. The hotel does not provide room service BUT you can go down to order off the restaurant menu and come back to pick up the food when ready, we also had the option of ordering from outside and bringing it in or having it delivered to the hotel. Wifi is only free for 30 minutes and then about 3£ for 24 hrs.
All up a very pleasant stay, central to everything offering excellent service and value for money!
