“Nice, well located apartment in Edinburg, Wifi, Laundy and Kitchen!”
Reviewed 23 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Nice apartment, located near the main Castle, and the GrassMarket, several mini markets at walking distances, very clean and comfortable apartment, with Wifi included, laundy, and kitchen. My wife and I share it with another couple the price was excellent! Highly recommended just keep in mind you have to check out at 11am.

“Convenient apartment close to Edinburgh royal mile, restaurants and night entertainment area”

If you are visiting Edinburgh, this apartment is very very convenient for a short stay. A well appointed two bedroom unit located on the second floor off Bread Street. There are two double rooms with wonderful high ceilings, a nicely equipped kitchen/dining area, one bathroom (with bathtub/shower) and one utility room. The apartment is relatively new and very well maintained. The rooms are pleasing to the eye, airy and clean with ample storage space and a TV in every room. Although there wasn't a designated livingroom, our party of five did not find it constricting, as the kitchen area was quite adequate to hang out. There are no elevators in the building so it is a short climb up the stairs to the second floor.

We were given nice plush towels, a welcome package with shampoo and toothbrushes, and general instructions were listed on the notice board in the kitchen. I really liked that the owners were generous and stocked the kitchen with ample coffee, tea and sugars. There were even aluminium foils available for the oven and a small batch of detergent for our washing needs.

The apartment is situated behind Edinburgh castle and is about a 10-15 mins walk up the hill. Likewise, it is about 10 mins walk to Princes Street and around 5 minutes to the Grass market - centre of Edinburgh's night life. There are two supermarkets within 2 minutes walk and great restaurants (italian, chinese, steak, japanese) closeby. It was so close that we often did takeaways and received a 20% discount for that at Restaurante ITalian.

The is no parking but if needed there is a public car park nearby. However, since everything was within a 10 mins walking distance we really did not missed having a car. Also, Taxis were relatively reasonable in Edinburgh.

As the bedrooms are located on the streetside, my only gripe is that during the weekend it could be noisy, with drunk revellers returning from their night adventure,

All in all, we had a wonderful stay there and will probably stay there again.
