It's a small but long bar, not a huge amount of space but still fine, screens to watch the football and bar staff are nice.

If you want value for your hard earned cash then you must sample the fantastic food served up in this friendly bar.Superb brunch menu with quality produce - stornoway black pudding, quality sausages and back bacon prevail.Go on thursday for a superb made on the premises curry served with a beer or glass of wine for under 7 quid.Portions if anything are too big which is no bad thing but it means i cant comment on the deserts as Im always pleasantly full up!Try for yourself and Id be very surprised if you dont agree.

We had a party in the function room upstairs. The space is great and has a separate bar and smoking area. It's really like having a bar in your living room! They have a projector which they are happy to let you use along with a sound system to link your iPod too. Would recommend having a look if having a party of around 35-40 people.

One of Leith's best pubs - go for conversation and food, room for hire upstairs. Unfortunately installed TV recently so conversation suffers slightly, but the regulars are an interesting blend of locals, artists and poseurs. Open till 1.00 am every night so I usually go in on my way home getting off 16 bus.
