Very strange place this - difficult to classify.
Food itself is actually pretty good, although a bit variable (some dishes lovely, some not nice at all) and from a limited Japanese based menu, but with only 1 of 6 staff that evening of Asian origin it just doesn't gel as a experience.
Cocktails (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) are really very interesting & unusual sounding, but actual drinks are like the food, very variable - some great, most not.
Biggest issue is that many items weren't available as they had run out of ingredients (including lemongrass!) and nobody seemed to take charge and manage the situation.
We went as we were advised that on a Saturday evening without any reservation it was probably the best choice in the area for getting a table for 6. That probably says it all.
