Convenient place to stay for 2 nights since it is in the heart of the city. Opposite this apartment there is a bakery shop and nearby is a convenience store where we can get simple provisions for cooking.
One complaint is the narrow staircase for us to lug our heavy luggage up to the apartment. Can you also provide some bath soaps and a dustbin to contain the rubbish?
Lovely apartment in a fab location. Second stay here and hoping to book again next year. Would definitely recommend.
The apartment is on historic Rose Street in New Town Edinburgh. Gareth was the perfect host assisting with our early arrival so we could set out and see the sights. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. Restaurants, stores, shopping, pubs all very close. Short walk up the hill to Old Town and the Royal Mile. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Gareth!
Central location is perfect for all the city attractions, while still easy to access. Well equipped flat, with everything you might need. Much nicer than staying in a hotel.
Stayed here for a weekend at the end of Feb. Booked well in advance on booking.com as it was a rugby weekend. The owner from time of booking was superb. Communication and information from him was fantastic. The location of the apartment could not be better. Rose street has everything. Bars, resturants shops and a stones throw from Princes Street, buses, Waverley Train station and the tram link to the airport.
The apartment is on the first floor, keys were left in the security key box at the front door. We were with friends so there was a set of keys each. The apartment is superb, just like the photos, stylish, modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment despite being in a busy area was very quiet, there was no noise from the outside at all so the sleep quality was great. The bedrooms, two, are both double beds and there is a sofa bed in the living room. There is plenty of wardrobe space, hairdryer provided, towels and toilet roll. The kitchen is fully equipped. Has a microwave, washing machine hob and oven. There was also milk and butter in the fridge and some basic dry stores supplies. We were very impressed. You literally do not need to bring anything. There is a small Co-Op shop around the corner and a Sainsburys just up the road. There are literally hundreds of places to eat and drink near the apartment and the owner supplies some tourist information in the apartment too. If you are coming from Edinburgh Airport jump on the tram the Princes Street stop is a five min walk from the apartment. Return ticket was £8 each and it took 25 mins. We have stayed in many apartments in Edinburgh over the years and this one was by far the best. We will stay again the next time we visit. Superb.
A lovely 2 double bed flat, with great living space. Most importantly RIGHT in the middle of Edinburgh, short walk from Waverley and all the touristy bits. Gareth, the owner and host, could not have been more helpful. Plenty of places to eat and drink but if you just fancy a no fuss but awesome pizza, head to 'dough' about 2 minutes away.
Myself and my bridesmaids had a wonderful weekend here, the place was so cosy and welcoming that we felt right at home. It's a fantastic location, comfortable and quiet in the bedrooms. All amenities are supplied and everything is easy to use. The owner was fantastic in the lead up also and let us place an online order which he kindly sorted for us on arrival. Thank you!
