I visited with part of a group 10 or so for a weekday lunch. The menu was quite limited, but had options for either a very light snack (bread and dips) or more usual pub lunches. I saw the looks of dismay on the faces of the men in the group who had ordered the fish and chips. The fish was about half the size of a normal portion.
The consensus was that the food was good, but for the main dishes, a bit more was needed. However, it did mean that we all had room for pudding and these were very good.
It was a nice place to sit in at lunchtime, but I popped in for a quick drink one evening and found it to be a bit lacking in atmosphere. I'll go back for food, but not to drink.
