Read about this new place and liked what i read - "the passion and enthusiasm for baking". Whilst the mince pies were terrific that is the best i can say about this place. No ambience and the coffee has to be the smallest in town. The seating areas are lacking in atmosphere and there is a general feeling of amateurishness. The owners need to have a rethink as to what they are trying to do and then they need to try harder. I won't be rushing back.

My mum and I had a cream tea here recently and it was everything the other reviewers had said. nothing was too much trouble for Marie-Claire the owner. She was so attentive and the scones were the best I have had anywhere. So filling we ended up taking the beautiful cupcakes home so we could enjoy them later.

This was a real find and what was so nice was that it was different from the other Tea rooms we have visited. Fabulous afternoon and would highly recommend

The cakes here are amazing. Marie-Claire the owner made an incredible red arrow plane cake for my daughters birthday party (take away). When sitting in the tea room is cosy and has character . There is a box of toys in the corner for children. Wonderful place - I love it!

My friends and I had afternoon tea here last Saturday, what a quaint place, very friendly owner and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is homemade and the savouries served instead of the usual sandwiches that you would expect were amazing, A fantastic selection of teas to accompany the food. Casa Angelina is not licensed but you are welcome to take a bottle of bubbly with no corkage charge. The tearoom is set out in such a way that you feel you could be in your grandmas sitting room, there is even a box of clothes to dress up, vintage hats, beads etc. Fabulous afternoon and it did not break the bank.

Didn't eat in. Took cake away...took lots of cake away. Brownie - 9.5/10 (this means amazing but not quite perfection.) Million or billion -aire shortbread very, very good. Peanut caramel cake - damned fine.

Go here. Eat cake. Be happy.
