I took my sister here for a birthday afternoon tea and we were not disappointed. Their afternoon tea is of a way better quality than most. The savouries were fantastic: shot glass of a quinoa/butternut squash salad, brie wrap, smoked salmon on a polenta cake, courgette bruschetta. All a million miles from your average sandwiches! Everything was absolutely delicious! We actually both remarked that we'd have quite liked more of the savoury foods!! The sweets were delicious though too. There is obviously real care taken over what they produce here. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the service was excellent too. Also really appreciated that we could bring our own bubbly and that you can have as many refills of tea as you like (and they have quite an extensive tea menu. The chilli rooibos was very nice!).

We went here for part of a hen doo weekend to Edinburgh a group of 12 girls. I have always wanted to do afternoon tea so was really excited to try it.

When we arrived the staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive to us. They had arranged the back room with a gorgeous table cloth and some dress up hats, etc, so we could dress up whilst enjoying our afternoon tea.

The cakes and savoury bits were absoloutely delicious and the scones were to die for!
The food wasnt your conventional afternoon tea, it was very quirky and had some very adventurous things such as vegetable wraps and little salad shots, but this added to the great overall experience.

We had such a lovely afternoon here the food and tea (huge tea selection) were amazing and the service was 10 out of 10, I couldnt recommend it enough. Its the perfect idea for a girly afternoon of fun, and the value for money is also brilliant. It was £19 a head and well worth it!
You can also take your own drink if you like something a little stronger than tea.

came here to meet a friend one day, noticed that all the food was freshly prepared, cakes, bread, salads and sandwiches all seemed so enticing. The hot chocolate was amazing and they made your coffee how you liked it. They also offered some nicely flavoured teas. the decor was netted curtains birds mirrors pastel colours and cushy . i really loved the feel of this homely cafe.

I visited for an afternoon cake stop after a recommendation from the lovely lady who runs the wool shop round the corner (a delightful combo for crafty types, wool shopping then cakes!). A top tip this turned out to be as it's a delightful cafe with cakes truly as tasty as they look, always a very pleasing thing. We were warmly greeted by a friendly man who offered to talk us through the cake selection, a winning & welcoming start. The decor is adorable, vintage chic without being too fussy, the service excellent and the food well presented, very tempting & delicious. I highly recommend this cafe and look forwards to a return visit.

Me, my family and my boyfriend keep coming back for the cake and salads. The brownies are to die for they melt in your mouth. My boyfriend loves the carrot cake, mum loves the gateau and dad just loves it when we bring home cake. We love the cakes here so much we've had three birthday cakes from here already. I personally am a huge fan of the salads here. Couldn't recommend this place more.
