We loved our two-night stay at this gem of a place, we choose to stay here as it looked comfortable before our long 24hour trip back to Australia. The bed was the biggest we'd experienced in our three weeks stay in the UK, and the most comfortable. We were placed in the Morroco room and found it to be beautifully decorated, although if you have trypophobia the wall might freak you out a bit. The bathroom is small, but was clean and all we needed for a two-night stay. Great wifi and great location to all the sight of Edinburgh, highly recommend staying.
I was more than upset upon entry. The entire room smelled of mildew and was very humid. My allergies started going into overdrive the second I walked in. My husband had to spend quite a bit of time to figure out how to prop open the window with the screws provided to let the humidity out. The mirrors were dirty, the pillows old, flat and used and the towels were dirty as well. The good things were that there was a tv, a bed and hot water. Comparably WAY too overpriced to other hotels in the area. Very disappointed!
Had to walk out of shower across a landing where strangers were talking outside there room !!! I obviously made a grave error!! This is NOT for me!! The SHARED DINING room is DIRECTLY outside our toilet and shower room !! MY ERROR BUT NEVER AGAIN!! So glad only booked for 2 nights absolutely NO frills. But appears clean.
Fab location and loads of space. Would definitely recommend and would book in future for stays in Edinburgh.
Public space is excellent and kitchen has everything you'd need. Being so close to the city though all we used was the kettle. Cafes and shops on the doorstep for breakfast and easily walking distance to great bars and restaurants for lunch or dinner.
Very nice neighborhood. Apartment was spacious and clean. Bedrooms worked out great for six friends. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Booked for guests to stay and they could not have rated the venue and service more highly in their feedback to me!
Sav who owns the property was a fantastic help to me while organising this group!
It is a beautiful apartment on one loveliest streets in Edinburgh. As a bonus it has a large private garden. The living room and dining area invite you to relax. The kitchen was fully equipped for guests and we could could make tea and coffee in the mornings and fresh milk was thoughtfully provided as well.
The room was Moroccan themed with a sumptuous bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and we slept very well.
We booked last minute and the manager, Sav, was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay again when we return.
