The dungeon was a great laugh, most actors were amazing and the audience participation was hilarious! I don't really get why the boat ride was there though to be honest. I though something would jump out or something like that but nothing happened..little bit disappointing! Loved the ride at the very end though, great way to end the tour :)

I had previously visited The London Dungeon when it was based in Tooley Street so on a visit to Edinburgh this was a must. The actors portraying various roles made this a worthwhile experience and great entertainment for all the family , scenes depicting the Highland clearances and the life of Swaney Bean were two particular favourites . Ideally located near Waverly Station it made for easy access to it's location and to say the least it was very atmospheric .and indeed educational

Hello, it's nice to hear from a Dungeon regular! We'll be sure to let the actors know that you appreciated their efforts. We are indeed very central and sneakily cram in some historical education in between the laughs and frights.
Many thanks.

Great time at the dungeons, mixing humour with gory history and a tense environment. Seany bean was the highlight. Could have done with a few more actors to catch everyone off guard!!

Had an amazing time in the Edinburgh Dungeon back in June. The actors really do a fantastic job at entertaining and telling the horrifying stories, and the Bean family especially was quite scary and very well played! The girls in front of me couldn't grasp that I'd ventured the dungeons all on my own, as they were quite terrified by the Bean girls.
I can also testify for the rides being very good! I have a terrifying face of myself from the drop ride to prove it! Thank you for a great visit to your dungeon!

We visited Edinburgh Dungeon and it was brilliant. Got in on a 2 for 1 voucher which was a bonus, great actors and true life stories about Edingburghs bloody past. I screamed my head off the whole way round and laughed all the way round as well. Definitely worth the visit!
