Owner description: The Edinburgh Dungeon is the scariest, funniest journey through Edinburgh's darkest history; a unique, award-winning visitor attraction that brings together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, 360 degree sets and 2 thrilling rides in a truly unique and exciting walk-through experience that you see, hear, touch, smell and feel. It's hilarious fun and sometimes a bit scary. Shows are based on real Scottish history, minus the boring bits!

Really enjoyed the time spent in Edinburgh Dungeon, the actors throughout are great and never break character. Historically accurate and scary fun for all. Well worth a visit, have a look online for money off vouchers etc. as it can be expensive if there's a family visiting. ☠

Didn't know what to expect but very pleased with the whole set up. It is very theatrical with good acting taking you through various periods of the dark his tot of Edinburgh. You have Plague , hangings boat rides to name a few and at the end YOU HANG. Good use of props and the dark to Scare you Plenty of screams and audience participation

Well done from beginning to the end. Each person involved put their heart and sole into the enactment. We were all older but enjoyed it as much as the younger ones. Very good time had by all value for money. Our friend had a walking stick and managed to get around.
