“Beautiful Edinburgh”
Reviewed 4 March 2013

Any walk through the West End of Edinburgh will take you close to Charlotte Square. Take time to wander, look at the architecture and really get to feel the place. It is magical even on cold winters days when the trees are bare!

“New Town”
Reviewed 18 February 2013

Good starting point for exploration of Edinburgh New Town: get the feel of the classical and patriarchal. The history is alive here.

“Historic Square”
Reviewed 16 November 2012

All four sides contain beautiful and historic buildings. Traffic is very busy during tramworks (elsewhere), because many bus routes are redirected round the sides. The famous Book Fair, with its many well-known speakers (3 a day) takes place in the grassed quadrangle in the centre.
