Had a brilliant time last weekend. The food is extremely reasonably priced. There is a relatively small choice of dishes, but each comes self-contained with miso soup etc. so it is very easy to order, which is good if like me you are not familiar with Japanese food. The food was excellent. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant seemed to be mainly filled with students from the part of the world represented by the type of food, who should know if this is good authentic cuisine. Presumably this is a very good sign. The restaurant is not licensed as far as I could see, but we felt actually having tea with the meal somehow was better than having wine.
