We stayed for one night and were given an excellent welcome. We parked just outside for free. The room was in the attic and was lovely with a good variety on the tea tray. We opted for the shower room but could have had a tub with shower which looked very nice. Bath robes and toiletries were provided. The breakfast was excellent with endless tea, coffee, fruit juice and toast. We chose the Scottish breakfast but could have had cereal, yoghurt and porridge also. The walk into Edinburgh took us 25 minutes bit I think we took the long way around. I would certainly stay here again.
Catherine and Stuart are excellent hosts who are very welcoming but not intrusive.

Room Tip: There is an ensuite room but the other rooms have private bathrooms and are just outside your room.

Had a lovely overnight stay at Glendevon B&B. Catherine and Stuart were very warm and welcoming and very accommodating during our stay; answering any questions we had re: restaurant recommendations (even going as far as printing out restaurant menu details for us!). B&B is approximately 15 minutes walk to the city centre which wasn't too bad. Breakfast was the best we've had at a B&B, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh! We will definately be staying here again if we ever go back to Edinburgh.

Just spent an overnight in this lovely B & B ran by the very friendly owners who made us most welcome from the minute we arrived. We had called the day before asking to check in early and this was accommodated.
Our attic style room was well furnished and spotlessly clean, and had everything you might need provided, tea/ coffee/ Tunnocks tea cakes/ shortbread, and all the usual items normally provided in large hotel chains. The bathroom whilst not ensuite was directly outside the bedroom door.
We were able to choose what time we wanted breakfast. This was served in a beautiful room, table set with fine china, and lovely silver wear. The breakfast was hearty, and plentiful, and well served.
We had gone to see a show in the nearby theatre which was a 10 minute stroll away. There is on street parking.
We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely B&B and look forward to visiting again any time we stay over in Edinburgh

we booked this b&b through laterooms. it was in an ideal location just situated off leith walk and close to all ammenities. the house is very deceptive from outside as it looks really small to be a guesthouse, but once you get inside you see how spacious it is. catherine and stuart have a lovely furnished home and made us feel more than welcome...(and so did bonnie she was adorable).excellent breakfast selection available i opted for the traditional scottish breakfast which was the tastiest breakfast i have ever had. would definitely book this b&b again if visiting edinburgh !!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The Glendevon is a situated on a quiet cul de sac. Our room was lovely, very clean with everything you could possibly need. Stuart and Catherine (and Bonny) made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble (they even ordered us a taxi into town!). No need for taxis though, as the bus service is very reliable. The No22 bus to the city centre is just around the corner, and the bus ride is only a few stops to Princes Street. Breakfast was delicious!!! We will stay here again and we will be recommending the Glendevon to all our friends.

Room Tip: We stayed in the en suite room, it was lovely and the shower is very good!

What a great place to stay, made so welcome by our hosts and the rooms were clean with everything in them you needed including Tunnocks tea cakes which were a nice touch. A fantastic breakfast with all local produce used, and a silver service to boot. Would recommend a visit here and will be back again.Free parking outside with buses only a 5 minute walk from our stay. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. If you're looking to stay in the city, stop here, you won't be dissapointed!!

First time at the Glendevon but can sum it up in a few phrases: nice welcome, nice people, nice house and fabulous breakfast. Easy on street parking is a bonus. Convenient for regular bus service into town as well. Overall very good value and I'll be staying here again.
