We had a great experience at Lauderville Guest House. It is a great value and includes free wi-fi and a fantastic home cooked full scottish breakfast. The rooms were immaculate and just be aware that the bathrooms are compact, but newer fixtures and do all the things they need to do. The shower had great pressure. Although slightly out of the the center of town, we did walk and the cost of a cab for 4 is about the same as the bus would be. Great restaurants nearlby (The Old Bell) and grocery and wine shops.
For a town that was packed for the Fringe and EIF, we were very happy to be just out of the "fray".

My wife and I stayed at Lauderville for four nights. The room was immaculate, breakfasts wonderful and the owners and their son were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Parking is available at the rear, and as it is on a bus route we did not use the car at all. A real bonus.

All in all an excellent choice and I have no hesitation in recommending Lauderville.

Excellent accommodation in beautiful Edinburgh. Brian Yvonne and Simon were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Bedroom was very nicely decorated/furnished, you had everything you could need, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite bathroom was lovely with a great shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend Lauderville Guest House, and if I ever visit again Edinburgh, I would undoubtedly stay here.

Booked at the last minute I thought a little trip to Edinburgh was just the ticket. I found this little gem after reading several reviews. The centre of Edinburgh seemed so much more expensive.
This guest house is a little walk away. However not so near if your partner is in high heels.
The room was very clean and tidy. As was the bathroom. Our hosts were very helpful. I'd defo come back to this place or recommend to anybody.

I recently enjoyed a two night break with family at the Lauderville Guest house, and was very impressed with everything ! The rooms were spotless and well equipped with everything you could think of , right down to a guest fridge with REAL milk .Breakfast was tasty and a good choice available, no request appeared too much trouble .
The owners were welcoming and very helpful especially with practicalities such as buses, taxi's etc. They went above and beyond in booking a hair apt at a local salon for myself , as I was over for a wedding . Forget the faceless, impersonal large hotels and try the Lauderville for a real treat.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor in a good size twin room , facing the garden . This was quiet and good...

A really nice place to stay in the lovely city of Edinburgh. The property is spick and span and the people running it are very warm and welcoming. They even prepared a special breakfast meal according to my requirements. The rooms are spacious and clean as well as the shower. It just looks fabulous on the inside and the outside.

Had a lovely stay in this guest house. Spotless clean everything you needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was lovely plenty choice. Nice little sitting room and garden area to sit and relax.. Computer in sitting room which is handy.. 40 to 45 min walk into Edinburgh level walk on a nice day but would advice taxi or bus if raining. Bathroom spotless but a bit small need to be slim.

Room Tip: Room 3 bathroom small. Lovely bright room Well stocked.
