The room was clean the internet was fast and the bed was comfy. Standard premier inn quality. The only down side was that they had had a new computer system installed. This meant booking took a long time. I found that when I went to the brewers fayre pub next door (part of the hotel I believe) they had also had a new system installed. It meant that even though they only had a handful of people in and a fair number of staff it took half an hour to get a beer (dinner was quick though). Again I cannot fault the staff they did the best they could under the circumstances and should be praised but perhaps premier inn should ensure that systems actually work before rilling them out across the estate. I will be avoiding the chain for a couple of months if possible whilst they get square

this hotel is a standard Premier Inn, you know what you are going to get: clean rooms access to a pub for breakfast & food
this hotel however does not have air con & the heating had been set at 22 degree's & was far too hot even in October!

We were out being tourists all day and so we opted for the meal deals as after being out all day we were all ready for a relax before dinner & no stress. My husband is coeliac and the restaurant gave a detailed allergies menu and nothing was an issue. You can ask for GF bread at breakfast which was a bonus too. Great value for money. Bus to Princes St is right outside hotel - £8.50 for a family all day travel ticket.
