Have stayed here through work several times and wouldn't stay anywhere else in area and as if it wasn't the best place I've stayed already..... upon booking in with work colleague we thought it would have been one of rooms stayed in before but seen as were staying most of week Carolyn showed us out back door to a self Contained 2 bedroom dwelling with large living area with kitchen and all appliances you get at home with large TV's and as usual many times before very clean and amazing breakfast choice with good Wi-Fi availabity

We stayed in this truly wonderful B & B after visiting near-by Roslin Chapel. A purpose-built Guesthouse, Aaron Glen ticked all the boxes: - a lovely, comfortable room with a spacious, ultra-modern bathroom; a superb breakfast; wonderful hosts; and oodles of secure, off-street parking - all within 20 minutes of central Edinburgh. If that's not enough to tempt you then consider this: - an amazing hospitality tray that includes a little Scottish 'tablet' (fudge) taster; knowledgeable advice about local restaurants; the use of a small guest lounge complete with an honesty bar; a fantastic breakfast menu; and a single rose on your breakfast table to greet you in the morning! Does it get any better?

We really enjoyed our stay and thought this B & B proved exceptional value for money. Our hosts - Les and Carolyn - were warm, friendly and welcoming. Carolyn in particular was kindness personified, an utter delight! Our room was everything you could hope for, and breakfast was brilliant - a huge range of options, all of them good!

Although we were actually heading out of Edinburgh when we stayed, Aaron Glen would serve as a wonderful base for exploring the Edinburgh region. You feel as if you're in a country retreat - miles from anywhere - but actually it's all right on your doorstep! Do yourself a favour and make a booking - this is a wonderful place to stay!

We have stayed a few times at Aaron Glen B&B each time we stay it's the most relaxing and welcoming place to stay, Carolyn and Les make your stay a pleasure, rooms are beautiful and all you will need is there, breakfast is by far the best, great menu with lots to choose from and all fresh, Carolyn makes you feel one of the family, I truly enjoy our stay and at night when we have a drink from the very well stocked bar I love that we put our names on a post it note to say what we have had to drink, thank you both for being such lovely people and making our stay so enjoyable xxxx

Room Tip: All rooms are brilliant there is also holiday homes adjacent to the B&B which are also good

by far the best B&B we have stayed in. it was amazing from inside and tastefully decorated. you go in and think you have come to a very nice and posh (Rich) house. the pleasant unusual thing that i noticed was that there was a nice bar that anyone could go and use and just write their names down. we arrived and Carolyn was there to greet us. my family immediately fell in love with her. she told to my father that he was the first "General" ever who has stayed in her guest house. she is such a nice and warm person. she showed us around and to our rooms. the rooms were professionally done. we were quite impressed.

my wife and Carolyn made a special bond. they both had long long conversations. in the evening Carolyn suggested a nice restaurant about a few miles out. it was amazing and we even got 20% off because of Carolyn.

breakfast was amazing. the choices were just out of the world and extremely professional and tasteful. the choices of cereal and yogurts were nice.

we had the best time of our trip over there. a little downside was the location of the GH but when you went in, you completely forgot about the outside and Carolyn made sure of that!

i would highly recommend to stay over there. great place and great host

This Guest House had every thing. parking, flowers, welcome tray, lounge, magazines, bed side clock. Small stuff I know, but when you are moving every day it just seemed like home. Carolyn was a delight and the breakfast by Les was superb with hot toast with the bacon and eggs. You will love this.
