The hotel is not so hard to find. There are two names on the front side. Playfair and hotel twenty. They changed the name a couple of times I Guess. The hotel is a bit old and a bit worn out but it has its charm. The staff is really polite and helpfull. It is located in a rather quiet area but it is still very close to shops, pubs, teater and so on. Its great value for the money as long as you dont expect 5 Stars as some of other reviews clearly do.

Badly maintained rooms visible signs of dust around and behind furniture cracked and flaking paint
A shabby and badly run reception.
The outside seating area appears to be for staff recreation also not cleaned and full of discarded cigarette ends

The staff welcomed us from another location and we were not disappointed with the accommodations The bed was adequate and the room nice sized. We were next to the street but the noise was not bad. The cost was mid range, so fair.

Stayed here for two night, with my son, his gfriend and grandson. Spacious family room, a king size bed and 2 singles, plenty of cupboard space, en suit with lovely shower and nice decor. Plenty for breakfast, cereals, toast, jams, cheese, yogurt, tea, coffee, juices, milk and a lovely full English breaky! Service is great, booked straight in/out, breakfast served straight away, attentive staff. Lovely building, very clean, beds/towels done daily! Close to shops, pubs and restaurants. A short walk to the centre and other attraction easy to get to.
Overall great value for money! Thank you hotel twenty
