This was our first visit to Credo and we were extremely impressed. The starter was a sharing platter that consisted of Oatcakes with mackerel pate, goats cheese salad, haggis tartlet with plum chutney and deep fried vegetables.
We had chicken roulade on a bed of mashed potato with lovely vegetables for our main dish. For dessert ( similar to starter) a selection of 4 very tasty sharing sweets.
We had a bottle of Shiraz that was £15.95 and it was excellent, a lovely aroma, and a very strong blackberry taste.
The owners Simon and Ruth of Credo were very friendly, and you can tell they are very proud of their new venture.
We booked before we left the restaurant to go back this following week and are looking forward to it.
A new favourite restaurant.
