We stayed here on a break to see Edinburgh. Fantastic site, we stayed in one of the mobile homes, it was lovely. Plenty big enough for a family of 4, very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet site, playground for kids to let off steam after a day in the city. Very good food and friendly staff at the stables bar. Easy bus route into edinburgh. We would have enjoyed a picnic table to eat at the caravan but that would be our one and only criticism. Thanks Mortonhall would highly recommend!

Visited Mortonhall for the third time at the week-end . We really like most things about the site but feel that £3.50 per night for our wee doggie is pretty mean on your part. Especially when you do not give a discount for pensioners.

As sites in Scotland go though, yours is up there with the best and we have been to many throughout the country. As said previously, pity about the charge for dogs.

I spent one night in my tent at Mortonhall Camping Park during my Scotland-Trip last June.
It's a nice place and the staff is really friendly and helpful! The sanitary facilities are exceptionally clean. There's also a small shop and a pub. The location is good, about 15 minutes to Edinburgh by bus (the bus stop is right at the entrance). Not cheap for a campsite but I would definately recommend it!

We have had very little experience at caravaning but had a motorhome to travel around the UK.
Mortonhall was excellent with great facilities - clean bathrooms with hot water. The bar and restaurant were great.
Staff could not have been more and sorted out the WIFI problems quickly - bus right at front to tsake you in to Edinburgh.

Stayed there when renting a motorhome for the first time, it was a good introduction. Field was very soggy due to the heavy rain, couldn't get up to it, but site manager gave us a new, easier one. Bathrooms and showers were clean and warm. Nice large location, close to city center. Good walks from the site.
