We stayed here for a few nights last month and I have to say that I was not convinced. The welcome wasn't particularly friendly, breakfast was average, the location was okay but not brilliant.
Yes, some of the rooms are big and spacious but the bathrooms are absolutely tiny, and that means you can hardly move around, you can literally touch three walls and the shower screen when you're sitting down on the toilet! No wonder there are no pictures on the website...
Properties next to this B&B are being refurbished at the moment and although the noise wasn't loud enough to disturb us, I felt this should have been mentioned before booking to help us make an informed choice, as the views from the back room were mainly mucky back gardens with builders from 8am.
During our stay other guests were not pleased to have been charged above the standard rate without prior warning so this made us feel nervous about our own balance until check out. Thankfully we did not have problems on this respect. On the plus points, the beds were very comfy. However the house has subsidence and you do feel the room slipping away from you if you stand at one end. Overall, an ok experience, but far inferior to B&Bs elsewhere in the city.
A real shame that the customer service did not live up to standard during our visit.
