We ate here on Saturday night. It's a small restaurant seating around 18-20 with a nice decor inside, slightly away from the main restaurant area in Leith. It was full on Saturday night which is good news for a recently opened establishment.
We all 4 had fillet steak for main course and it was really excellent and incredibly tender - probably the best we had ever eaten. We had ordered them ranging from blue to medium depending on personal preferences and when they came they were all very rare which was fine for me, who had ordered blue. No-one in our group had a problem with their steak being rarer than they would normally choose, as the steaks were so excellent - but this might be a problem for some people. There was a small hiccup with the dauphinoise potatoes my husband had ordered and this was sorted out very politely and efficiently by the very helpful staff. The starters were all good and in particular the mushrooms with tarragon on toast was really good. There was a nice selection of reasonably priced wine.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone and we hope to eat there again next time we are in Leith.
