“Great tour - Highlands and Queen's view, Whiskey”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Our guide was Joe, he was knowledgeable and told lots of interesting stories and facts. Definitely made the trip even better than it already was. Tour was well planned out - many stops, gives you chance to see and do different things - Queen's view was amazing, Whiskey distillery was great, and small towns included were perfect. Having been to another highlands tour - this one is a lot better. Would recommend it. Very relaxed day, and you're well taken care off.

I'm really glad to hear you felt relaxed on your tour - that is what being on holiday should be about! I'm sure the whisky tasting helped as well. This was a great choice of tour to get a snapshot of what Scotland has to offer without too much travelling time. I hope you get the chance to come back for one of our multi-day tours in future.
Thanks

“Awesome trip to Glencoe and Loch Ness”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

We had an ace guide and driver named Steven today. He was warm, friendly and funny; all excellent features of a guide. (Steven, if you're reading this, have you considered stand up or improvisational comedy?) The journey was smooth and the commentary full of interesting anecdotes and dramatic fervour. William Wallace and Robert the Bruce would have been very pleased and Walter Scott rather proud I imagine.
Rabbies seem incredibly efficient and skilled at what they do. Right down to the nice lady who greets travellers on arrival at the Rabbies departure point and how Steven our guide waited and greeted everyone at the bus door at each stop we made. That sort of attention to detail makes a difference.
Thank you for a cool day!

Hi Susie. That's a fabulous review of Steven and thank you for mentioning our check in team member as well - they often get forgotten! Scotland is a wonderfully scenic and historic place but it takes someone like Steven (and our other guides) to bring the history to life and make it special. I'm glad we gave you such a cool day out.

“Amazing Experience!!! The Best of Scotland!!!”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

On the day tour through the Highland and a tour of a whiskey distillery, Jan was absolutely best guide ever!!! His stories of the history of Scotland, his command of Burns poetry, and most importantly and fun, his sense of humor made the trip better than I imagined. I didn't want it to end!!! And he threw in a little trip and story of Stirling Castle! I am going on to Ireland and am going to choose to go with Rabbie's again. Thanks for the wonderful day, Jan and Rabbies!!!!

Hi Lois. Many thanks for your review - Jan will be really pleased as well. Sounds like you had a great day in the Highlands and I hope Ireland will be just as good.

“Excellent tour! Best one available!”
Reviewed 3 July 2014 via mobile

Used Rabbies based on hotel recommendation. Went on the one day St Andrews trip and glad we used them. Our tour guide Shelby was absolutely great. She is extremely knowledgable and has true pride in her country and wanting to share it with others.

A trip to St. Andrews is a must. The town and surrounding areas we saw/stopped at are a must see for sure.

Hi there. Thanks you for your review and kind comments about Shelby. St Andrews is a fascinating and historic town with something for everyone and we fit in some beautiful little villages and coastline along the way as well. And all just a short distance from Edinburgh so lots of time off the bus to explore. Hope we see you again soon.

“Loch Ness, Glen Coe and Highlands Day Tour”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

Myself, hubby and two teenage sons, 19 and 16, took the Loch Ness Day tour from Rabbie's on July 2, 2014.

We had a WONDERFUL time and learned so much about Scottish history from our incredibly knowledgeable (and witty) guide Alan. We were really glad that the tour was small (only 16 people) and that intimacy made it easy to feel comfortable to ask questions.

The Scottish Highlands were so incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed seeing so many lochs. Loch Ness was, of course, a highlight and worth the long trip.

I would definitely do another trip with Rabbie's and in fact, we have one booked when we go to Glasgow next week.

Many thanks for your comments - its lovely to hear that our tours appeal to all ages and can work for the toughest audience of all - teenage boys! And thank you for asking questions on the tour - all the guides love it when guests are interested and engaged and it makes for a better tour for everyone. I hope the Glasgow trip went well too.
best regards
