We have just returned from a weekend break in 6 Ramsay Gardens, what a lovely welcome from the girls they were very informative about the history of the house and took time to show us around. The house was very warm, cosy, and spacious for the 6 of us and having the extra bathroom with fab showers made a big difference, the house was spotless clean could not fault it in any way (and we are very fussy!) a perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day, so central and within walking distance to the hustle and bustle, highly recommend we will be back, cant wait!

Room Tip: If coming by train advise a taxi, although its a short distance carrying luggage can be a treak, its a very steep climb, a taxi only cost £2.50, well worth it!

The cheerful and friendly welcome set the tone for our 3 day stay at 6 Ramsay Gardens in October 2012. The appartment was warm and cosy with wonderful facilities, and the views were breathtaking. Just a short walk from the Royal Mile and Princes Street, it couldn't have been more central. We will definitely be coming back!

If location is everything, this place has everything. My first impression after exiting our vehicle from behind the security gates was "Blazes, it's in a dungeon", much to the chagrin of my long suffering wife, who had spent many long nights on the computer trying to find somewhere for 5 adults to stay somewhere near to the centre of Edinburgh.
But after descending the steps to below street level to our Unit 33B, it opened into what was not in fact a dungeon, but more like a Palace.
Thre was a huge master suite with private ensuite, another huge room (ours) with king sized bed and enough room to run a shott put competition without fear of hitting either end. The remaining single room had a double bed.
There were two televisions, didn't check out music but didn't need it anyway, dishwasher, clothes dryer, washing machine and just about everything you could need.
The place was spotlessly clean on our arrival.
OK there were a couple of inconsequential niggles that can easily be fixed at little expense: the bath towels are too small to accommodate large people so bigger towels would be nice; a matching set of tea cups would be good - there were 6 cups but in 3 sizes so I could not serve equal cuppas to all; all of the sugar sachets had gone hard, loose sugar in a bowl would be much better. And there was no teatowel, but all of these were tiny.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all of us agreed that the beds were very comfortable. There was minimal traffic noise from outside.
The tariff for our stay when split 3 ways was extremely reasonable.
Cliff Ferguson, Perth, Western Australia.

Room Tip: The apartments seem to be in several locations so check each out on the net and enquire if unsure.
