My husband, 3 year old daughter, and I stayed here on our last night in Edinburgh, and I really wish we were able to stay longer! The place is absolutely beautiful! It's tucked away in a hidden part of the city, but still within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The street it's on is lined with beautifully kept apartments, and the B&B is at the end with room for parking.
The B&B is whimsically decorated and very comfortable. The hosts are warm and inviting, and were very welcoming of our small child. We had room 3, and it was huge! Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It was more like a luxurious hotel than a B&B guest house. Bathroom was modern and a nicely sized. There was only a shower, no bath, so that might be a problem for some people although it wasn't for us.
Breakfast was amazing! I had the chive pancakes and it was the best breakfast I had during our whole trip. The hot breakfast menu is diverse, and there was a wide selection of cold breakfast choices like cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, breads, and cakes. Breakfast is served from 7:45 until 9:15 so keep that in mind when booking, although to-go breakfast if you need it earlier.
Wifi connection works great, too. That's always a necessity in my opinion.More
