Lovely flat with everything we needed, very friendly welcome from Julie. Well-appointed accommodation with plenty of room for the five of us. Many nearby shops, including two bakeries, and within walking distance of Princes Street (about 20 minutes).
Just returned from a great stay. We were met on arrival and were shown around the apartment. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We cooked in three nights and we had all the equipment in the kitchen that we needed. The living room is also well equipped with TV and virgin box and wifi, books and a cupboard of board games, great for relaxing in the evening after marching the family around Edinburgh.
The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets if needed.
The apartment is situated on a busy road and the main window in the living room is great for people watching. The road is made up of independent shops, cafes and a co-op. The train station is about a 15 mins walk away and the main attractions are all in easy walking distance, but bring good shoes, Edinburgh is that good it is easy to rack up the walked miles.
Would recommend to families, we felt really at home.

Flat had everything we could need. Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Nice Scottish feel to it!
Two little boys loved it.
Julie and her husband were very accommodating with an extra request we had. Really easy to book, arrange checking in etc.
I stayed here with my mom, aunt and cousin. We all really enjoyed the flat and the location. Julie is wonderful and she meets you there. It is very clean and has a washer for clothing. I would stay here again for sure. There is a small grocery store very close and a large Tesco .7 miles away.
Stayed here for a week in May while working at the Playhouse and have already booked to come back next year! Really lovely apartment in a great location. We had 6 people and no arguments!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rossie Place! Julie and Stephen are fabulous hosts, and a wealth of information re attractions and scottish culture. The flat is cozy, and well appointed, and decorated with cottage charm. I love the Scots sayings we learned "Hud Yer Whesht!" (good for use on the young ones). The location is within walking distance of Prince's street/Train station, the Royal Mile, and Arthurs Seat, amongst others. There are many shops/markets/restaurants/pubs on Easter Rd to choose from. We could eat out, or hit the grocery and make meals at the flat. We truly felt like were at home in Edinburgh! We're looking forward to our next chance to come back!
