We arrived 7.15, everything took ages from the ordering to the arrival of food. We waited for an hour for our main course! Waiters brought lukewarm water when iced was asked for, it wasn't busy but waiters seemed incompetent and inexperienced. Food wasn't great, raw chicken in the Britannia special tandoori! They ran out of nan bread! We left/walked out after the waiter took 10 minutes to come back and tell me that the chef was making more food for me! Best part of whole dinner was rice and poppadoms. I will never return, this wasn't a special offer it was a food assault course! Amateur food prep, somebody will get ill!

“Good qulity Indian food”

A great find with wonderful food combining Nepalese and Indian food. Food was not spicy and delicious. Service was good and waiters were very polite.

“Satisfying and filling experience!”

Just back from lunch at Britannia Spice and it have to say it was absolutely wonderful. I had Chicken Pakora and Chicken Tikka Massala with boiled rice and naan bread it was delicous! My friend had Chicken Ceylon (hot) and he loved it. Look forward to our next visit. Noted they are doing 3 courses for 2 for £29.95 that would need to be an evening one!

“Rule Britannia!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

Arrived on a hot early evening for dinner and very impressed with a very smart Britannia Spice restaurant, clean bright and spacious and a warm welcome from the staff. The starters of vegetable and the chicken pakora were excellent. The vegetable and chicken curries that followed were also excellent washed down with a nice cold beer and the house red was pretty good too. All the prices seem reasonable and the sort of place we would return with friends, hopefully soon!
