The location of the apartment is perfect - close to Princes Street the main shopping area. Also close to Broughton Street with lots of bars and restaurants. The tram is close by which takes you straight to the airport which was great for the return journey home. Lisa was in contact throughout our stay which was great. Hope to use this apartment in the future.
Only a short walk from Princes Street and many restaurants and shops in Broughton street yet very quiet. Also within walking distance to Stockbridge . Buses are available minutes away in Broughton St and York Place to go further afield. Buy a bus pass for 4 pounds and get off and on all day! Loved how the sun drenched in the bedroom window in the morning and in the living room later. Although a basement apartment it was light and nicely furnished with a lovely corridor separating the living area from the bedrooms. We rented this apartment as we were expecting our grandchildren to visit. Would be great for a family. The way that Lisa decorated was very nice with a lovely accent table by the door and well positioned artwork. Although we did not meet Lisa it was easy to get the key and Lisa was very quick to respond to any questions.Steep stone steps down but not too many and a nice railing at the side. Ideal and homey.
I've just returned from my stay at the London Street apartment and it was delightful The apartment is super cute to bedrooms bathroom living room with a little dining area and a full-service kitchen A convenient walk to downtown restaurants and a full-scale Tesco to do grocery shopping. Everything we needed was at the apartment other than shampoo and conditionerr.
Lisa and Chris the owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with Very responsive very attentive and quick to reply to questions. If I ever come to Edinburg again I would not hesitate to rent the apartment from them again
This was my first experience with a vacation rental of this type and it was a wonderful experience.
The flat location was perfect for a family with no car. Within walking distance of the station, restaurants, museums & art galleries - which were all free. The botanic gardens and National Museum of Scotland are close too and both brilliant! Bus tours of the city are great; they offer one where you catch a boat out to Inchcolm Island - seabirds galore and a ruined abbey, don't miss it! There was a mix up with our booking - entirely our fault - and Lisa couldn't have been nicer about it!
10 minutes from Princes Street and easy access to all amenities. Lovely apartment with all mod cons and beautifully clean and a lovely gesture of chocolates and Prosecco went down well. The owner was very helpful and understanding when I locked myself out. Would highly recommend it and will be back again. Thanks Lisa
Spent three days here with a girlfriend and found the apartment to be comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Just 10 minutes walk from Waverley Station in a quiet location away from the bustle of Princes Street, yet still very convenient for visitor attractions, cafes, restaurants and bars.
We had a great weekend and will most definitely return to Lisa's flat again.
