This apartment could not have been better and comes as advertised. First off, it is big, plenty of room to spread out. The first floor bedrooms (3) are roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice, clean and also spacious. The downstairs area is very nice and provides a place to escape - should you need to! Depending on your group, the apt. could easily hold 10 people.
Unlike other places we've rented, the amenities were terrific. The kitchen is stocked with all of the equipment you'd need and the hospitality shown by Armando when we arrived was great. He showed us around and spent the time to tell us about the town and his favorite spots. It was a great way to start the trip in Scotland.
The location is amazing! Being so close to the Castle and the Royal Mile is sensational. We were in walking distance to so many sites/restaurants and the building was lovely. A minor downside is the construction for the upcoming August Tattoo right outside the window. But we were fully-warned and it was fine just something to consider.
Loved this place and can't recommend it enough!
My family and friends (including 2 grandmothers and my 4-year-old nephew), stayed here for six days. The beds were great, the table big enough for all of use with room. Fantastic location, easy walking distance to many locations, no problem getting a taxi up to the flat.
Anna, the owner, was quick to answer all of my questions before we arrived and Armando, the manager, was fantastic. Answered text and calls quickly, stopped by to help sort out internet issues.
There was plenty of room for all of us in the sitting room, the washer and dryer was great to have. Plenty of cups for all of us caffeine addicts.
The only complaint, which has NOTHING to do with the owners or building itself, but when we were there, they were at the start of building the stands for the Military Tattoo, which started at 07.00 and ended at 19.00. With a 4-year-old we were up already.
Perfect place for a friends/family gathering. Fab views of castle.Super comfy beds. Larger groups can have whole apartment and teenagers enjoyed having own space with extra kitchen and seating area downstairs. Excellent place to stay.
A group of 12, 6 moms with their 6 teenage dauhgters had a great stay in this beautyful apartment for a weekend. Celebrating the girls friendship for up to 10 years before they will split for highschool.
The location of the apartment is outstanding, beautiful view from the kitchen window to the castle.
Large rooms and three bathrooms, was indeed needed :-) cince there where 12 women in the house :-)
Armando was very helpful with reccomending what to see when we arrived. We had a complimentary from the owner wich the moms apriciaded a lot.
Coffee and tea as we liked to drink.
We can highly recommend this beautiful apartment to everyone.
Our family of nine had a wonderful week at this home. We rented both connecting units to accommodate our large size. It was apparent from our initial walk-through that both units were very clean, recently updated and well appointed. The units were as pictured and we were not disappointed!
The location in old town was just through the gate to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, which was awesome. Although the view of Edinburgh Castle was blocked by the temporary structure built for the Military Tattoo, we weren't disappointed at the least. There was even an evening concert at the castle the night we arrived.
We walked the city both day and night, enjoying all that the city had to offer including restaurants, galleries, shopping and a not-to-be missed old town walking tour.
Anna was great to work with before, during and after our stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Ramsay Garden!
We had a group of 10 friends stay in this apartment for 3 nights. Everyone had their own bed and we loved the large table to share meals together. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner every night we were there. It's hard to beat the location, adjacent to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Anna was easy to work with and everything was just as advertised. Armando -- the property manager -- was super nice and helped make our stay very enjoyable. He was very responsive to needs. We would definitely stay here again when in Edinburgh.

An amazing location, we had our family of 5 including a grandmother of 83 as well as another family of 4 --- this include d4 teenagers in total as well. The location was fantastic - at the top of the Royal Mile and just underneath Edinburgh Castle. We got there just as they were setting up for the Tattoo (a summer festival that includes a temporary stadium structure that actually does hinder the view of the castle from the room but you are generally not I the room all that often). Anna, the owner and her managers, Armando, we're both very helpful about all of our needs. Space was perfect for sleeping requirements of our large group and very comfortable. Kitchen amenities galore. Even Grandma was able to skip out the back way without having to go down a lot of steps so it worked out perfectly. Central to all the city sights. For a large group, this was a perfect spot. One warning would be during the Tattoo, there are celebrations and concerts that will go on that might have some impact on your stay. We did not have any at all during our stay as they were still setting up, therefore, I cannot really comment on how much this will effect your stay. We were early in June and the weather cooperated womnderfully. Great restaurants all easily within walking distance. Anna had a great guidebook for resources. For a large group like ours, it was a wonderful place to stay.
