A spacious first floor apartment (with lift) - the photos do it justice - with en suite bathroom to double bedroom, and a separate shower room on the wide corridor. Good amenities and a balcony from which you can see parts of the harbour where cruise ships come and go, and the Royal Yacht Britannia is moored. My wife and I (mid 70s) stayed there with our daughter and one of her sons so that we could hear the other grandson sing in a Fringe event. Bus stop nearby takes you into the centre. For those of us who read a lot, &/or put on make-up in the bathroom, the lighting could be better, i.e. brighter, and the fridge door needs its hinges adjusting.
A lovely spacious clean flat with everything you need. This was perfect for visiting the fringe festival and also some top class eating places locally and easy transport links
We booked this apartment for our family while visiting Edinburgh took us a while to find the flat as we were looking for 10 -2 when in fact it was block 2 flat 10 but once in the flat was very clean spacious and well equipped very convenient for ocean terminal and Britannia and walking distance of some good restaurants and 24 hour Asda and free parking a great stay Thank You
We very much enjoyed a week in this lovely apartment. It's very spacious, clean, very well equipped..can't fault it.
Even though it's not right at the centre of Edinburgh there are buses 5 mins walk from the apartment.
Enough parking just outside.
Price has been really good compared to other accommodation.
Would definitely recommend it to my friends.
A huge flat that was exactly as described; clean, well decorated and well equipped with all the things you will need for a very comfortable stay (including peace and quiet)! There is plenty of off-street parking and John has been an excellent host. We used it mostly as a base to travel into the city centre but there it the Britannia Yacht attraction as well as a huge shopping centre within 5 mins walking distance.
This 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for a family of 4. The free parking right outside was useful to us and we just got the bus into the city each day (£8.50 for a family). Nearest bus stops were 5 mins away and there were small shops close by too. It was spacious, warm and included everything we needed.
Spacious apartment, well equipped and clean. There is a lift up to the apartment. Within walking distance to supermarket, and shops, cinema and cafés. Bus terminal 5 mins away, take the number 22 to Princess Street in Edinburgh and the same number back. A good base to explore both Leith and Edinburgh, but if you fancy a night in, the apartment is very comfortable for this as well.
My Aunty & Uncle bussed from Edinburgh to see us, we met them off the bus, bought a selection of cakes and entertained them back at the apartment due to the weather!! They were impressed with the place!
We took a young boy in a wheelchair with us for the week, he loved it!! Plenty room to move about, we were able to have him sit at the table with us without tripping over his chair! The only thing we had to take was bed guards for the wee man.
All in all, very impressed with the apartment, the only downfall was that we couldn't close the blinds in the sitting area at night for a bit of privacy and instructions on how to use the double oven would be handy! ........ Will book again!!
