I really liked this pub from it's quirky name to the lovely food they serve, there is nothing not to like about this pub, the selection of drinks is good, I really enjoyed the haggis neeps and tatties and the place has a nice atmosphere. This is a nice place to stop at for lunch while you are out and about in Edinburgh I would highly recommend it.

Right on the Grassmarket, the pub is interesting to explore. The menu was not regular pub fare -- no fish & chips or steak & ale pie. I had Steak Frites (steak a bit tough), which was okay. However, my husband had the untimate beef burger and said it was very good.

Went in for a drink while walking past - good measures, drinks served in a crystal glass which was a nice touch! Very busy so no tables available but thats no bad thing ?

Well first off, very clever name! The pub was well presented, had clean toilets and staff were friendly enough. The food was good and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed that they maintained the same theme through out.

I have been coming here since I was 21 every time I visit Edinburgh (once a year), since I last came they have destroyed all the atmosphere which made it unique and special could be any pub now in Edinburgh. Drawings and sayings, pictures taken down blackboards out of toilet gone, so so disappointed .....
