Fabulous - only stayed one night but will definately be back. Great communication prior to visit - we were greeted at the specified time to be given the keys. Beautiful apartment - well equipped for a long or short stay. Ideally situated in the city centre but still nice and quiet. Lovely and warm, very clean, home from home. Bedrooms were quite and beds very comfortable. Sorry to be leaving.
Was very spacious place had lots of room for the four of us would recommend this place to anybody who asks me
The Capital Retreats flat we stayed in offered clean and stylish accommodation in cental Edinburgh. My boyfriend and I were impressed with the location within walking distance of many shoppes, restaurants, and historical sights. I would higly reccommend this rental to anyone visiting the city.
Excellent two bedroom apartment in the centre of Edinburgh which is great value for money. The staff was very attentive and adhered to any needs we required. Was also very informative when we asked about the local attractions as we are not from the area. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back in the foreseeable future.
This apartment is in a great location, and had everything we needed. Couldn't believe the large size of the apartment which was equipped with great facilities. The management staff could not be more helpful (especially Dale and Maggie!) Would recommend these apartments to anyone, and would definitely use them again.
The street view of the apartment building is nondescript despite the glass panelled and stainless steel doors. The apartment on entry is a breathtaking sight: it has a spacious entry decorated as is the rest of the apartment with eye catching art work. It has an attractive passage to the next floor on the original spiral staircase. The second floor is tastefully furnished and well appointed. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable. Dayle who let us in was friendly and helpful. This was especially so after checking out when someone in our party forgot their wallet and mobile and we had to be let back in again. He answers phone calls and emails promptly.
My only cavils are that there isn't a broom or vacuum cleaner for a spot of cleaning during your stay; and no bin in the bathrooms. The location is superb and it is above a Sainsbury Local which makes self catering easy. However, around the corner in Alva Place is Edinburgh Pantry Bistro which uses all Scottish sourced products and is not too expensive for a taste of Scotland.
A really nice place. So grateful my husband splashed out on this capital retreat.
