Arrived with party of 6 for dinner and was given an awkwardly positioned table in the middle of the pathway with tables either side so lots of foot traffic and noise. Waitress was less than pleasant but thankfully the young man serving the drinks more than made up for her sultry manner. She appeared to go off shift and we then had excellent service from the staff thereafter something we had expected from our previous visits. 10/10 for customer service. The starters took forever to arrive, but they were tasty. The main courses were variable, sadly the monk fish was over cooked and rubberised however the steaks were fantastic and beautifully presented.

We have eaten there three times over the past 18 months and whilst we will return I think it is more suited to groups of 4 as the booths work well . Do wish they would consider a specials board as the menu has not changed much if any in that time.

Well worth a visit

Just got back from a fantastic Sunday tea. I booked a table for 6pm and arrived early we were able to go straight to the table. Good selection of starter's and mains. The food was excellent and the service was prompt and attentive. Will visit again soon.

10 in our party and we all chose different dishes, all were very good I'm a mac & cheese fan -this was good- esp. the big chunky bit on top, presented nicely- young staff are lovely, attentive, and always look as if they are enjoying what they are there to do. meals are a bit more pricier than other local eateries- but I wouldn't say they are better because of that. very busy the night we were there, quiz night too, which was good ,lots of interaction going on. difficult to hear the others in the company since it was so busy. Toilets are spotless --I had to choose the one with the broken lock though.! car parking is over the road but Taxis, friends, etc can pick up right at the door.-- few spaces right outside.
