Absolutely gorgeous. I used to go here at least once a week but job commitments means I haven't been in a while :( All I can say is my toasties (well fired) were always so tasty as was the salad side. Teapots and wee China cups with the obligatory cosy...brilliant. Jenny the owner always made time for a brether and when I lost my dad they gave me a lovely card which I thought was so sweet. Don't try fix something that ain't broke ur wee tea room is the bestest. I don't eat cake but if I did the selection is second to none. All the best for u and all ur amazing staff xxxx

Thank you SO much for such a fabulous review! such a shame that your work commitments prevent you from coming in as we all miss you! Hope you and your family are well and look forward to seeing you if you ever manage some time off work (for your burnt toastie lol!). Tea Jennys Management.

“Great tea & scones”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

Decided to visit this tearoom after reading the reviews and were not disappointed. Tea room had great atmosphere. Despite being very busy service was excellent. Scones were the best we've tasted & three different flavours of jam provided. Loved the animal tea cosies!

Hi and thanks for your review. I must say that your review does come across as somewhat suspicious?? There is no mention of when you were in, what you had to eat (other than chips), the service, ambiance etc, etc...It looks like a malicious attack on us?? We do serve reputable brands like Heinz tomato sauce and HP sauce in large ramekins with a spoon and we assume that customers would use the spoon to spoon the sauce onto their plate?? As this is the first time this has been an issue we only assume that the high percentage of our satisfied customers follow such a protocol. This is why we are somewhat mystified that you assumed a large ramekin of sauce with a serving spoon was for your own consumption???? I also notice that this is your first review which further heightens our suspicions as to the integrity of this review!! We use ramekins to project a a higher class image as most other establishments use tacky bottles or even worse, individual portions sachets. However, you have raised a point that we will certainly look in to. Tea Jennys Management

“Great independent in Falkirk town centre”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

Falkirk isn't a great town for cafés and restaurants but the Tea Jenny stands above the usual chain offerings that are available here (and every high street...)

I visiting twice in two days.

My first visit was with my wife for some breakfast. I had a full Scottish and everything was spot on. It's always great to see haggis on a full scottish too. Everything was as fresh as you might hope and it came with toast and coffee. My wife had waffles with cinnamon and syrup which were light, fluffy and delicious. We were also provided with some lovely home made jam and marmalade for the toast.

We were so impressed we stopped by the following day for coffee and cakes along with our youngest daughter. Again everything was fresh and tasty. I had a merengue which was huge.

Service was very good despite it being very busy on our second visit. Importantly the staff seem genuinely focused on the customers experience, something which is all too lacking these days.

If you haven't been before it's well worth a visit.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, it's much appreciated. Two visits in two days is a huge compliment to us as it lets us know we are doing our best to give customers what they want and deserve. Independents struggle at times to compete against the bigger chains so we know how important it is to give 100% in quality food and service. We hope you will become a regular customer when you are in Falkirk and in turn we will do our best to serve you "nostalgia by the slice!" Thank you once again. Tea Jennys Management.

“Excellent! Will definitely use again.”
Reviewed 2 November 2013 via mobile

Tried this tea room after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor and had a lovely visit. Was very busy which I think is always a good sign, after we arrived people ended up queueing for a table and I would too next time. The waitress was lovely and gave my daughter some crayons and paper which I think was a nice touch. The decor is modern and bright and the food was excellent. My partner ordered a mocha while I had a hot choc and both drinks were delicious. After we paid and headed out one of the waitresses made the effort to thank us for coming and said goodbye. Cant rate the service highly enough and will be using again.
