last night had a great meal at jambo grill, The restuarant is lovely, food is excellent. Goat curry is fab, so is lab and chicken curries. Starters, we had excellent beef skewers, hot chicken wings, fab and lovely hot bread too. We also had condiments which were very nice too to accompany the meal. Deadly pepper sauce which i loved, comes with a warning so can be avoided if u dont like things too hot. Had nice sweet dessert to finish off. Lots of kenyan beer was drunk too with this meal. There is also a european menu. Will definately go back as there are lots of things i would like to try on the menu. The staff are very nice, friendly and attentive. No delivery but you can phone and collect yourself and get 10% discount

Food was lovely but service took ages. We were there on a Saturday night, there were only a few tables occupied, we had 2 courses and it took almost 2 hours from we were seated till we walked out.
Would not recommend the "house special cocktail" £4 & it was only vodka lime & honey.
Was good for a new experience but don't think we will be back in a hurry.

Tried Sunday carvery with wife and 2 children. 1 at 3 years old whilst the other is only 3 months. Made to feel very welcome and relaxed and staff fantastic with kids. Food was amazing, really tasty and well priced. African sausage a particular favourite as well as green banana cooked with tomatoes. House cocktail was also delicious. Wasn't very busy but deserves to be and I hope word spreads. We'll definitely be back again soon.

For an authentic taste of Africa, don't miss a visit to Jambo Grill in Falkirk. The Coconut Rice with vegetables is terrific (you can also have it with chicken), soooo tasty. Goat curry is also not to be missed. You MUST try the irio - a mixture of pea puree, sweet potato puree and sweet corn (I think!).

Everything cooked to the highest standard - obviously, the best cuts of meat are used as the pan fried meat platter was tender and tasty.

Prices are very reasonable for both food, wines and beers. Some good African beers for you to try as well.

Restaurant is spotlessly clean. Service is very good. It deserves to be a lot busier than it seems.

The last place you'd think to find an African restaurant is Falkirk! We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and shown to our table. The decor is a little dated but the food is excellent very tasty and filling. I liked that the food could be altered if you wanted it spicier or more mild.

Well worth a visit.
