Food is exceptional , huge portions all home cooked to order. Basic accomodation and little bar. Full of contractors staying there while they away working. If you are looking for great food and homely atmosphere then its for you.

Stayed here on business, on arrival it looked ok- away from main road. When i got into the room there was a soaking wet towel laying in the shower & what looked like dog hair all over the chair, propably from the last occupant. the room had not been cleaned, even the floor looked shabby. Hard to get good sleep when you've got people coming in & out at all hours making so much noise. Cooked breakfast was luke warm(cold beans).
Will not be going back here. I booked the next night at a Travelodge for £5 more- well worth it for good room & sleep!
