I liked this inn and the food. The staff was very friendly and the service was quiet fast. There is a large parking gehind the Inn.

Service was exceptional...! The decor is lovely and homely.

Two of our party said the steak pie was the best they've ever had, and another said the Rhubarb and Ginger crumble was the best they'd ever had - and believe me, they've eaten alot of both... so that's some compliment.

Will definitely return..!

Whilst travelling Scotland, we came across this little gem of a restaurant. So happy we did! Rarely does one get to meet a chef who is so enthusiastic about their work, it is contagious. The starter of just perfectly grilled scallops with chorizo and parsnip-purée was so smooth it melted in our mouths... The main dishes: a special consisting of home made sausages, heavenly onion gravy and mustard-mash was a very, very well executed Scottish original. The rack of lamb with salsa verde & couscous a nice twist on a traditional dish. Needless to say, we cleaned our plates completely. To finish it all off, the rhubarb crumble and Carnack special brownie were heavenly. To add to all this, a nice Rioja wine & above all, very personal and attentive service... Well done!
