We visited in the evening in the rain and were immediately confronted with "it's and extra £2 per person if you want to go inside." I was advised that it did state this in the "very" small print on the Groupon offer. We paid an extra £4 and went inside, only to discover it was absolutely freezing and we would have probably been better outside in the rain! Finally, when we finished and went to collect our drink included in the offer, we were told we could have a diluting orange or black current drink and that it was again an extra £1 per person for anything else!
We enjoyed the golf, however, the course is a bit boring and nothing would be challenging even for the uncoordinated.

We definitely will not recommend and will definitely not be back!

This is a great way to spend some time. Went with hubby for the afternoon and had a good laugh - hes a golf pro so i was thrashed which made him smile. We played in the dome which is a great idea. Only thing i have to say is that we went bowling afterwards and noticed a sign in bowling alley that gives you 2 for 1 in golf island if you play bowls first!! Know what to do next time :)

For better or for worse, our kids invariably ask to do this when visiting in Dunfermline. If the prices were better we would not hesitate to say yes every time. As it stands, regardless of the fact that one of the courses is now covered and that the kids always enjoy it, we continue to feel this is substantially over-priced and go there less and less. We visited during the Easter weekend just past and, in a moment of keeping kids happy madness, also paid an extra £1 per child so they could do an Easter "treasure hunt" while playing their game (i.e. find 4 amateurishly made and hung letters and solve the resultant anagram). Their prize for this was a pirate transfer that probably cost a few pennies! As a brand building technique it was the opposite approach to that which many other businesses take at Easter - even our kids thought this was rip-off. We will not be rushing back.

Thanks for your feedback. We are glad to hear your children enjoy playing the courses but are sorry you find it over-priced. Most customers find good value for money at Adventure Golf Island. There will be more features and special effects added soon to ensure there is more fun and value built into the experience. Thanks again.

Kids love Adventure Golf Island. We took our youngest daughter (4) for the first time a week or so ago. It was my intention just to walk round the course with her and give her a hand playing. Not only did we have to pay for her, she is the same price as our older daughter would be at 8 years. We also had to pay full price for me because we were going into the domed course. We wouldn't have played on the outside course as it was raining.

Best to sign up for their emails as from time to time you are sent offers such as 2 rounds for the price of one. Very expensive without any offers.

I took my 5 and 12 year old girls for a round on the indoor course. They both really enjoyed it, and me & mum managed to win a free game on the last hole, so definitely coming back!
