Great little resturant, nice decor & atmosphere. Good service with friendly waitresses. Super choice of menu with well cooked fare. Prices reasonable with lots of meal deals, all in all a pleasure to dine here.

As a regular customer of the Glen Tavern, I could not beieve it is only rated as 29th on tripadviser for quality. In my opinion, the tavern is by far the best in town for homecooked food. My family and I eat out on a regular basis to family eating establishments such as harvester, crooked glen, 7kings. We have tried all in the Dunfermline area and find the Glen Tavern the best all round for value, quality and service.

I've been driving past the Glen tavern for fifteen years and thought that it was just run of the mill pub. One of our friends recommended its restaurant for a casual meal with the family and we like it so much that we keep going back.

Food is all good quality -steak pies with lots of real, tender steak inside, fresh fish, crispy chips, tender roast beef. Reasonably extensive menu, providing good choice and a good kids menu which can be seen online. Friendly service in a nicely decorated, pleasant restaurant.

Their deals are great: 2 or three courses for a fixed price, Sunday roast dinner etc and, although we're not OAPs, they do amazing deals for pensioners on Sundays. On Sunday I my wife and two kids had a 2 course meal with drinks (and refills) for 28 quid. (Actually that included a dessert which we shared!)

So if you don't feel like cooking but don't want to go to a chain, or the golden arches, I would recommend giving this place try.
