Went the other night with 5 friends. Had a really good night. I asked for a small portion of haggis neeps and tatties and when it came it was enormous. Really good though but far too much for me. Everyone enjoyed their meals and two of them had the fish tea which they said was really good. They are in the process of changing their menu. The pensioner meals now go on till 9p.m. You now buy a pensioner card which you buy for one pound. Not exactly sure how it works but you pay full price the first time and then get for half price the next time, but card let's you have pensioner meals up till 9 p.m. Will definitely be back.

We use this restaurant on a regular basis when in town shopping and have also used the venue for family get-together's. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My wife has several disabilities, she really likes having a meal at the Glen tavern because the staff make a fuss over her - they go the extra mile in customer service. The food is good - however we have had a couple of disappointments, which we let the staff know about and the problem was rectified immediately. The Glen Tavern do an awesome Sunday roast which we really enjoy - especially when you don't feel like cooking on that day!
So good food - good atmosphere - good staff - good prices.
