good value 2 meals for £10 2 sweets for £2 can,t beat it. was very tasty.

We've been to Brewsters quite a few times usually because one of my kids friends is always having a birthday party there in the fun factory. We went this time just for a quick tea and I was actually quite impressed.

It was very busy, but apparently you can book. I was not aware of that but maybe booking would be a good idea if you are in a hurry and cant wait for a table.

I ordered fish & chips from the 2 for a tenner menu, and my son ordered the beef burger. Both came within 20 minutes and were piping hot sizeable portions. Some of our party had the buffet @ £6.00 a head. The food is not haute cuisine but it is tasty and hot, which is the main thing. Actually the fish & chips was super, not greasy and so light and crisp, with the fish being a proper battered fillet not the scraps!

Drinks do seem quite expensive, so although the food is a bargain, beware - a draught coke is £2.50, albeit refillable, but with 6 in our party, that's £15.00 on coke! I plumped for a orange squash instead which was under £1.00 so be careful about ordering drinks - they can massively increase your overall bill.

I can't say anything bad at all about the staff. Superb atmosphere, with banter and chat. All in all, a pretty decent place to go with your family for a nice afternoon tea or dinner. The kids are kept entertained in the play area (which costs a few quid) while mums, dads and grandparents can sit and talk in the restaurant.

Good for a Sunday tea with kids entertainment. food is priced well.

Frozen chips and food which has all been prepacked for the set menu - its OK - edible - it's what you would expect.
