Went here with my partner before the theatre as it was a handy location and we wanted to make a night of it. Big mistake!
The staff were very inattentive and when we asked for another round of drinks it felt like we had put them out of their way and disturbed their conversations with each other! It would also be nice to be served with a smile if they actually know what that is..... I also recently read an article from the mail about one if the older members of staff getting into trouble with the police due to their aggressive behaviour in a restaurant, not surprised!
The food was very average and we had quite a long wait in between meals.
Thankfully the show was great!

We have been here half a dozen times, always as a pre-theatre meal. Most recent visit was for "Rumours of Fleetwood Mac" last Friday evening, and the meal was lovely. Smoked mackerel starter with oatcakes followed by cajun salmon, new potatoes & veg and finished with creme brulee. This in itself is what we hope to see on the menu - it is just gorgeous and the version we had on Friday was very different. Chai tea flavour and yummee. We had a slight blip when we were encouraged to ask for the bill as the show was about to start - this was at quarter to 7 for a half 7 show? Most peculiar. However, we just laughed and ordered coffee instead. Maybe they were hoping we would leave and they could get another sitting? We love this place and have already booked for our next musical night out at the Alhambra See you then. (Maybe try some different things on the menu - it's been the same choice every time we've been.)

We visited here on a Sunday lunchtime and we had a lovely meal (cheesy pasta - perfect comfort food), fantastic service and a great place to sit, watch the world go by and have a good blether! We'll be back!
