You may not stumble upon this place, but it is worth a look. We've eaten here off and on for years and have always found it to be excellent. It's only a small place, but there is plenty of choice on the menu and the service - food, drinks and seating is efficient, friendly and prompt.

Decent range of drinks at the bar including draught Kingfisher! Take away food is always good as well. Well worth a visit.

Just sampled a meal at the Everest and it couldn't be faulted. The food was amazing. Paneer kebab starters were just perfect, curries were good, nan was authentic and it was so good to see a paratha cooked properly!

Staff were friendly. First time there tonight and will definitely be back.

This place is about 5mins walk from our apartment. We had used it (when under previous owners) for take out a couple of times and we weren't that impressed. We were going to go up the town to one of the other Indian places but on a whim decided to give The Everest a go.

So glad we did. Staff are friendly - food is excellent and sensibly priced. IMHO, the best Indian restaurant in the town. Give it a try.
