Visited on a 50% reduction on food night so didn't think I'd be spending much, especially as it's a school night. The restaurant has been spruced up since my previous visit last year, looks somewhat better.
After a swift review of the menu I see many dishes priced at what I would refer to as West End (London) prices, Brick Lane is definitely more competitively priced. 'Run of the Mill'standard fare (Dupiaza, Rogan etc) all priced around £12 to £13, maybe pricing the food at this level compensates for the 50% deal?
Service was polite and prompt and the food was nice. We ate at an early part of the evening so any potential atmosphere was hard to gauge. The overall bill was a surprise considering we only ordered two soft drinks between us. Nevertheless I enjoyed the evening although I won't be rushing back. Let's just say I'll give it another year before my next visit.
