“A good place to explore the surrounding area”
After our satnav sended us in the wrong direction (which was our own fault) We were picked up from Dunfermline and escorted to the Wee Hauf. Very good service.
It is a small house, but cosy and not to expensive. It is a good place to stay if you're planing to see a lot of the surrounding area's. It is just over half on hour to Edinburgh and close to some main roads. We could use a small and nice garden and made friends with a cat there. The bathroom is very good, the beds not too comfortable and the kitchen well equiped.

“Perfect little house”
First class spotless accommodation and perfect base for exploring Fife and surrounding areas. Everything you need is available and even weather was excellent during our stay. Great sheltered garden for sitting outside with cuppa and reading newspaper in the morning before setting out for the day.

Thank you for your comments, I'm pleased you were happy with the Wee Hauf. It was kind of you to leave your map. I have noted the better walks nearby that you told me about and will pass them on. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the village, as with so many villages the move of so many people into towns/cities hasn't helped. We hadn't really noticed as we spend our time in the garden and happily there are still local shops.
