Ate at Maya's with a group of 14 work colleagues
Ordered a selection from the menu to make up our own banquet -so was able so sample a good few things off the menu- superb food indeed Everything freshly cooked and served by the most brilliant bunch of waiters -great service
Was a busy Saturday night too and we were not kept waiting.
looking forward to a return visit

Third take-away and second time disappointed! Popadoms were enclosed in the same plastic bag as the main dishes, so the heat and condensation within the bag rendered the popadoms soggy and inedible. Rice was grey and greasy, patia was more of a soup. Portions smaller than those from other Indian Restaurants in Dunfermline and more expensive. Had to wait an additional 1/2 hour longer than the expected pick-up time. Left waiting with no explanation, but apology given when food eventually appeared. Probably won't hurry back.

Had a takeaway, chicken in the curry was either tough and dry or chewy like it was undercooked. The dish was meant to contain bell peppers and yes I suppose there were 2 small pieces there! The pilau rice was basically discoloured white rice - a dirty grey/brown, certainly didn't look appetising. Overall, a big overpriced disappointment. Won't be back.
