this museum was very interesting, and being from the USA I learned how to correctly pronounce the name properly. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend a day out in Dunfermline with kids for free. Carnegie's birth place really interesting. Get Ronnie the guide to explain everything to your kids he makes it fun and interesting. After AC birth place go to Pittencrief park and explore.

Must visit. Already from fife and been along time ago. Was looking for something different for the kids to do so came along. On admittance we where welcomed by a very nice assistant called Ronnie Maceachen. Was great with the kids and gave them a lot off information about different things with names and other stuff. Fab day out and free.must come long

“Everyone should visit and take a few seconds to think”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

This is a very interesting place to visit, and also humbling to some extent. There is a general museum which chronicles the life of Andrew Carnegie. This exhibition is attached to the man's birthplace. It is free to go in although the parking outside, not managed by the trust is pay and display. Well worth a visit

“Interesting visit”

Very well set up, it is a tiny cottage where Andrew Carnegie was raised. Humble beginnings for a wealthy man that to this day supports libraries all over the world.
