Myself, partner and 11 year old daughter stayed here on 1st Marc 2014. We were looking for an overnight with pool and spa facilities and this Hotel was offering a great deal. We had a comfortable family room with good facilities. The gardens of the Hotel are beautiful so if the weather is good it would be a lovely place to sit. We were room only so cant comment on the dinner or breakfast. The pool is large but very cold and there was no jacuzzi which is a shame. Great steam room and sauna though. Would recommend this Hotel to friends.

Hotel ok, but very noisy at night ( room right over car park and Kitchen. Deliveriey lorries at 4-5 am. Doors to rooms slammed very easily and very noisily, doors between staircase and corridor very noisy. Overall found it very hard to sleep due to the noise.

We stayed in a family room in a separate annex , it was large, quiet , clean & well appointed, with lots of room for us with our 11 year old. All the staff were extremely helpful & friendly . We received a call a few minutes after we checked in to ensure everything was ok, we were having trouble with our Internet, they said they would look into it & the manager came down to sort it out within a few minutes & then re booted it , & it worked well for our whole stay. Very Impressive service !!!!!
The breakfast was plentiful with a great choice, the dining room & our bedroom had great views over the grounds .
Very good value. Highly recommended

Room Tip: 241 great for a family

Some think this is Mansion it is, it has large gardens which compliment the house, The x large bedroom and bed was lovely. I would come here again.
The staff although young were very good at there job, I wish to point out Keth who was v good, and to such a good head on such a young person is not normal today, if in the region I would always come back.
Thanks everybody

After a little driving around trying to find it I arrived. Checked in fine and allocated a room in loft section. Room very nice and comfy bed.
Only problem was the radiator was on full blast and could not be adjusted. So had to keep opening skylight to get air in. Outside was cold and wet so could not leave open.
Could not view tv from desk so as I had work to do could not glance at tv as it was on the wall behind me.
Food I had was fine.
Would stay again but if had a room with stuck on radiator would ask to move.

First of all, I booked this hotel through Aeroplan and knowing that it was a Best Western I didn't expect much. But what a surprise! This cute place is absolutely adorable. It is away from the highway which I like. it is only 30 min from the city of Edinburgh. Parking is right in front of the hotel and lots of spaces available.
Rooms are spacious, and very clean. We have stayed in the room where it looks to the garden and I loved it. Wifi is free for the guests and it is available in the room which was fantastic. They have a good size swimming pool and gym which is also accessible by the guests. They also provide towels for their guests. the reception desk is helpful, very accommodating.
Restaurant is very cute, and food was good. Breakfast is also adequate and I must say their eggs are great. it seems very fresh and natural so I recommend that. I have only one advice for the restaurant section. try to be a little informative of your routine. For example, if you bring the toasts to the table yourself and don't have one for the buffet area for self service let your guests know so they won't keep looking for one. It is a small thing but it shows in general how much you value your guests. I think the attitude is key here. If you communicate with your guests a bit more. (this advice is for the restaurant section only) The reception was excellent in that sense.
Overall I definitely enjoyed staying here for 2 nights and certainly would go back again in the future.

Room Tip: Garden view is very nice. But the one that was overlooking the front of the hotel (mostly parking) w...
